Kerry Washington, Khloé Kardashian, and More Celebrities Are Sharing Selfies to Raise Women

In a movement to elevate the status of women and promoting the empowerment of women, the most recent Instagram challenge has celebrities posting black and white selfies as part of the “Challenge Accepted” trend. Kerry Washington, Ciara, and Vanessa Bryant are some of the many female stars who have shared photos of themselves to “accept the challenge” and nominating their friends to participate, often paired with the hashtag, #womensupportingwomen. “I am impressed by the power of women, loving each other and lifting each other up!” Kerry subtitle of a black-and-white photo of herself.

Although it is not clear who launched the challenge, photos for the challenge began to surface during the weekend.
