Based on the YA novel of the same name, Words on Bathroom Walls sheds light on mental health by telling the story of high school student Adam (Charlie Plummer) as he learns to navigate senior year with a recently diagnosed mental illness. After transferring to a new school, he soon meets the outspoken, whip-smart Maya (Taylor Russell), and a new romance blossoms between the duo as Adam’s relationship with Maya inspires him to open his heart and not feel defined by his illness.
