Could 2020 be the year of Penny? After seeing the Happy Endings cast meeting of July 20, it sure seems to. Eliza Coupe (Alex), Elisha Cuthbert (Jane), Zachary Knighton (Dave), Adam Pally (Max), Damon Wayans Jr. (Brad) and Casey Wilson (Penny) are joined virtually in the table of characteristics to read through a Zoom video call.
The meeting of delivery a story that really means for the ABC series the fourth seasonthat never came to be. The series was sadly cancelled in 2013, but seven years later, fans finally get a glimpse of the spontaneous evolution of the wedding between Penny and Max. I wouldn’t call this a surprising turn of these two characters, but it is a fun welcome surprise, however. In addition to the delivery of laughter, the Zoom of the call also doubles as a fundraiser for Color of Change and World Central Kitchen.
