No idea to Restart About Dionne Is in the Works From NBC

The premier sassy Black friend is to get his own series, and I have several questions. Variety gave the news that the NBC peacock officially crouching in the development of the reboot of No idea that focuses on the Dionne Davenport, more than the well-beloved Cher Horowitz.

Although the series is currently without a title, his premise seems to be especially developed with Variety he describes it as “a baby pink and bisexual, painted blue, small sun-glasses, milk oatmeal with milk and Adderall-fueled look at what happens when a queen bee Cher disappears and the eternal number two Dionne steps in Cher vacant Air Jordan.” The series continues to Dionne as she deals with the pressures of being the most popular girl in the school, while unraveling the mystery of what happened to his best friend. Sounds like much for a show, but we are open to see how things develop as the start of production.

Jordan Reddout and Gus Hickey have been tapped to write and executive produce, with Corrinne Brinkerhoff, Scott Rudin, the original producer of the film, Robert Lawerence, Eli Bush, and Tiffany Grant who serve as executive producers as well.

Both the holder of 1995, the cinema and the TELEVISION adaptation focuses on Cher, with Dionne serving as his faithful right-hand woman. Stacy Dash portrayed Dionne in two iterations and, despite its current character, the former actress made her mark as the strong-strong and eternally elegant character. Who takes the role of peacock’s reboot will have a killer platform pumps to fill.

The series joins the list of restart the programs to stream in the peacock, with its Saved by the Bell spin-off, being the nearest to be transmitted. Sounds like the reboot is fishing for the comedy and the mystery of the mesh, in a manner similar to TBS’s Group Search. Or maybe you are going to err on the side of the more dramatic, as Pretty Little Liars or Veronica Marsthat I would definitely be interested in researching further. Either way, it’s safe to say that the new series will be nothing like its predecessors, that is a bold risk with a beloved cult classic. We’re a little tired of the description — that kind of sounds like a stream of Generation Z fashion to draw attention — but we have hope! Cross your fingers and stay tuned to us to look out for more details as it begins pre-production.
