Zoe Walker (Laura Haddock): A small-town woman from Manchester, it is difficult to see Zoe, beyond the girl she was twenty years old when her beloved brother disappeared. That is because even Zoe struggles to view herself in the present, untethered from her trauma. Zoe is sick of being protected, and desperate to feel liberated. No matter how chaotic your self-exploration, it could be, she knows what she needs to feel alive. After being confined to his home in his teenage years by his father, Clint, Zoe uses her time in Ibiza for intimately getting to know his brother Axel to revive some of their similar experiences. It is only after their world to spiral out of control, and losing everything, that she is able to live their most authentic life.

Clint Collins (Francis Magee): While Axel and Zoe painting of his father Clint as emotionally removed and stubborn, who gradually discovers that he is a fiercely loving father who just wants to protect what is left of his family. Duarte “Boxer” Silva (Nuno Lopez): Boxer is his archetype for the tough guy and hero, but his heart is still free, and he is proud of his sensitivity. In the first place, we see him as a man of confidence for the Calafat family, and a security guard in his club, but his love for Zoe allows us a glimpse of his sweetness. Although Zoe can see and feel his loyalty to her, she is in conflict, to respond to his love for him, because she is both married, and skeptical of their participation in the Axel of the death. Despite Zoe of the negligence of a Boxer, emotions, that you are able to experience the complexity of his character — that it is so difficult, as it is tender.

Anna (Angela Griffin): Anna is a master manipulator who objectifies herself and all that it seeks to control. It seems that his only way to communicate with people is through sex, which is what hides his true intentions, while also numbing herself from her own pain. Anna’s character is something of a parallel to that of the Boxer — where Boxer is the search for authenticity through romantic relationships, Anna twisted understanding of sex as power masks how broken she is inside.

Marcus Ward (Daniel Mays): Oh poor Marcus, he is just a good man and a good friend who always seems to get screwed over by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. As David makes clear, for him, Marcus is trapped in his past, because he is fixed in a false image of himself to be rich, talented and successful. For Marcus to live authentically, he must let go of his failed relationship with Anna, and the pain of losing Axel, that he has internalized for twenty years.

Oriol Calafat (Juan Diego Botto)By : Oriol, as Marcus, suffers a lot in silence. While trying to prove his worth to his father Andreu, we reached an agreement with his complex relationship with his mother Conchita, who has been molesting him since he was twelve years old. Both Oriol and Marcus found the group exercise therapy to be the most cathartic, and the use of substances — whether drugs or alcohol for the exercise of repressed emotions and experiences. What is surprising is that of all the characters, Oriol is most open to the transformation, and prioritizes the time to recover from their mistakes of the past.
