Michael B. Jordan is to outline a concrete plan to bring the long-awaited changes to the entertainment industry. The actor has been associated with Color of Changea progressive racial justice organization, to launch the #ChangeHollywood initiative, which aims to address systemic racism, promoting inclusion at all levels, and increase investments in projects that represent a wide range of Black stories by Black storytellers.

“The history of racism in Hollywood is long and unforgivable: the exclusion of Black talent, the silencing Black voices, the derailment of the Black races, and using both the economic and cultural power of the industry in order to shore up the police departments and the status quo of the criminal justice system,” said Michael, and the Color Change of President Rashad Robinson in a joint open letter on Friday. “We can break the pattern, and a change of career. The understanding of Hollywood’s impact on society has never been more widespread, and the demand for addressing systemic racism in Hollywood has never been greater. We must respond to the call to action”.
Essential to the mission of the initiative is a four corners of the sheet path for the production of the companies, executives, and the like, which is as follows: to dispose of the police, invest in anti-racist content, invest in Black talent and career, and invest in Black communities. Color of Change and Michael Outlier of the Society of the production of the company offers a variety of services and resources to help achieve these changes, including a pilot of the inclusion of the template, independent of the directory security, relations with the government of the task force, and more.
“Everyone in Hollywood has a role to play,” the letter continued. “Some of us are going to demand a change. Some of us are going to implement the change. Some of us to the people responsible for the commitments made, or follow-up of the results of the changes that are made.”
