Lin-Manuel Miranda and antonio Ramos Friendship Moments

If it weren’t for Anthony Ramos off-Broadway show Heart and Lights close during the previews, it would never have crossed with Lin-Manuel Miranda. Fortunately for us, Anthony was able to audition for what was then called The Hamilton Mixtape, book work, and to comply with Lin-Manuel, alias the man who was to become his mentor. Their on-stage chemistry, both the friends and the father and the son (Anthony pulls a double role in Hamilton as John Laurens and Philip Hamilton) is one of the best parts of the musical work and demonstrates how close to the couple obtained in the course of his year on the show.

While Hamilton may have been the catalyst for their relationship, it is not the only musical the pair share. After that antonio was cast in the workshop of HamiltonLin-Manuel was asked to be a part of 21 Chump Streeta 14-minute musical based on the episode #457 of This American Life called “What I Did For Love”.Lin put me on the map with that one,” Anthony previously told TheaterMania. “I’m very grateful that he trusted me with his material.”

Now if that doesn’t convince you of the trust you have in the other, the fact that Lin-Manuel is passing the role of Usnavi in In the Heights (a paper which he himself wrote and which was originated on Broadway) to Anthony for the movie version must. In an interview with The New York PostAnthony stated that “it is incredible that [Lin] given this role that meant so much to him to play, and was basically like, ‘I’m trusting you with this.'” Thanks be to god that the two will appear in the version of the film, as Lin-Manuel will be playing Piragüero, also known as the iconic Canoe Guy. If you want to see more of your friends, you can capture Disney+’s Hamilton the 3 of July, or you can keep scrolling to see some of their cutest moments — as Lin-Manuel fangirling over Anthony’s relationship with Jasmine Cephas Jones.
