Is Kanye West going down the path of the campaign? The 4th of July, 43 years of age, the rapper tweeted that he is a candidate for president in the upcoming 2020 election against Donald Trump — who has publicly supported in the past — and Joe Biden. “Now we need to realize the promise of the united states by trust in God, the unification of our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the united States!”, he wrote along with the hashtag #2020VISION. Despite the fact that Kanye did not offer more details, it seems that it has Elon Musk of the vote. The CEO of SpaceX quickly replied to Kanye’s tweet writing, “you have all my support!”

Interestingly, this is not the first time that Kanye has talked about running for president. During the MTV Video Music Awards way back in 2015, he said that he was going to be running in the 2020 election during his speech for the Vanguard Award. Even so, it is not clear if you have submitted documentation to officially launch the presidential campaign.
