Jason Momoa is to give Lisa Bonet a gift full of unforgettable memories. On Tuesday, the Aquaman the actor revealed that he had been working in secret on a very special project: the restoration of his wife’s 1964 Mustang. “This is the first car I ever bought,” he explained in a YouTube video. “It is one of the three and has a lot of custom pieces for it.”
“I know we can’t relive a memory, but maybe we can rebuild one.”
“I know we can’t relive a memory, but maybe we can rebuild one,” Jason mused in the video, which reflects in the car earlier by the coup. He worked with the artisans in the Divine 1 Customs in Las Vegas to return the vehicle to its former glory — or maybe even better. “I never thought that it would be as well,” he admitted, after seeing the finished rebuild.
Your disbelief is practically nothing in comparison with Lisa. When Jason and their two children — Nakoa-Wolf, 11, and Lola, 13 delivered their surprise, she seemed incredibly moved by the nostalgia gesture. “It is beautiful. The sacred cow,” said Lisa. “That is precious. Oh, my god. It is pristine, not too flashy, but just enough.”
The surprise ended in a nice kiss between the couple, before they left hand-in-hand to take the car for a ride. Watch the video above to see Lisa sweet shock (and Jason pride in the throws of it!) in the action.
