Right off the bat in the fourth season of 13 Reasons WhyJessica Davis and Clay Jensen continue to think that we are seeing in the bodies of their dead classmates. Jessica sees Bryce Walker and Clay sees Monty of the Cross, despite the fact that both of them died in season three. Clay see Monty, is especially worrying, because everything is part of the Clay experience dissociation as part of their trauma. See dead people, is a part of Clay dissociation, and the other is the destruction, including to carry out acts of vandalism in the school.

The students arrive at the Freedom of the High one morning to find that someone has painted a message on the school in the main office door that says “Monty was framed” in bright red paint. No one knows who did it, but of Clay, Jessica, and the rest of his friends begin to worry that someone knows the truth about what happened in season three: Monty, who was murdered in the jail, not a murder Bryce, even though the murder was placed in him. Alex Standall is the real killer and his police offer dad knows the truth — and this group of friends, assume you’re in the clear since Monty is dead.

But are they in the clear, if someone knows Monty was framed?

Things get sticky for the Clay when he receives harassing phone calls Monty telephone number and a red can of spray paint is shown literally at his feet in the school bus, but Clay can’t find out who is playing with him. And although it is Diego, and the football team are the impersonation of Monty telephone number to mess with him, you are not really behind the graffiti.

The clay is one of those who spray-painted the message on the school, and he figures it out after your therapist helps you diagnose him with having episodes of dissociative in that he does things that he doesn’t remember. After the Clay is captured in the configuration of a car on fire in the school, your therapist helps you figure out what is going on, and one of the things that Clay did while the dissociation was the painting of the doors of the office with “Monty was framed.”

And although the Clay graffitied the school, apparently ready to fly around the world from the deck without knowing it or meaning to, no one ends up pressing Bryce case of murder, and is put to rest.
