Zac Efron is getting his head back in the game of Disney! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Efron will be starring in a remake of Three Men and a Baby Disney+ — a great meeting for both the film company and the High School Musical star. No other details have been revealed, but the 1987 comedy originally starring Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg, and Ted Danson as the New York bachelor, Peter, Michael and Jack, respectively. However, the real question is: who will join Efron in the reboot? We have a couple of ideas.
Michael B. Jordan and miles Teller
Efron already has experience palling around with Michael B. Jordan and miles Teller from your 2014 rom-com That Awkward Moment — this would be an easy job for these guys. In addition, I could totally see Atm growing a strong Sellack-style ‘stache.
Corbin Bleu and Lucas Grabeel
OK, hear me out. We have not seen Efron, Bleu, and Grabeel together in the screen, as their High School Musical days, but what better way for them to meet than in another Disney project? All in favor of the “wave your hands in the air!”
Henry Golding and John Boyega
Well, I just feel deep in my bones that this trio was going to work. We have not seen John Boyega make a ton of histrionic, but let’s be real, it took most of the fun Star Wars moments (from the last couple of years) on your back. My only requirement is that both Henry Golding and Boyega keep their accents for the filming.
Zac Efron, Zac Efron, and Zac Efron
We are going to give this movie in its entirety The Parents Of The Trap treatment and have Efron play in three parts. That the man he is? Who cares! He is all of them. Hell, make him a baby.
Only Two Other Men Who Know How to take care of a Baby
You know what the only requirement for this movie should be? That the three characters don’t act like that is totally strange for men to take care of a baby. Maybe you are not the natural from the get-go (Although, why not? Changing diapers is an equal opportunity employment!), but the fumbling around and the acting terrified of taking care of tasks he is tired. Sign my petition to make the responsibilities of child care normal! I’m kidding . . . but of truth.
