The cast of the X-Men franchise to play superheroes on the screen, but the company recently paid homage to the real-life heroes helping during the coronavirus of the epidemic. During the Overall Goal: Unite For Our Future event on Saturday, Hugh Jackman, Sir Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Ryan Reynolds, James McAvoy, Sophie Turner, Liev Schreiber, and Famke Janssen gathered through a hilarious and chaotic Zoom of the call. The video begins with the original X-Men jumping on the call, before Reynolds was full Deadpool by crashing into the chat and invite some other people to join. In Turner’s defense, she actually thought it was a Game of Thrones reunion. Naturally, the video call ended with frenemies Jackman and Reynolds awkwardly in the chat, before another cast member made a quick cameo.
The star-studded event also included the participation of Billy Porter, who spoke about the importance of fighting for social justice, as well as the performances of Chloe x Halle, Jennifer Hudson, Miley Cyrus and John Legend. See the fun of the X-Men meeting in the plenary above.
