Sometimes you need a movie that can lift your spirit and leave you smiling while the credits roll, and 2008, Mamma Mia! it does exactly that. With beautiful landscapes, an addictive all-ABBA soundtrack, and a well-known cast, the musical is the ultimate feel-good summer romp.
If you are not familiar (impossible), the film follows a young man, the spirit and the bride-to-be, Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) trying to find her real father, so that he can give to her boyfriend. The problem? There are three men — Sam (Pierce Brosnan), Harry (Colin Firth), and Bill (Stellan Skarsgård) — who could be his father. After secret to invite the three men to the wedding, the complications that can arise after Sophie attempt to keep the men hidden from her mother (Meryl Streep) an error occurs and the pretenders to assume that the reason they were invited.
