We are still suffering from The Crown‘s intense for the third season, but Netflix has been put in a queue until the cast of five seasons. While Olivia Colman, Helena Bonham Carter, and Tobias Menzies will continue to lead the ensemble of actors of the fight against the roles in season four, in 2020, fans will be able to get to know a new set that will lead to the history of the British royal family in the 1990s onwards. In November 2019, Deadline reported that the streaming service had begun the search for cast replacements and had entered into negotiations with the new queen: Harry Potter‘s Imelda Staunton. Jan. 31, Netflix announced that Staunton was officially to take over Colman of the crown. As the queens before her, Staunton will reign for two seasons with his second career, in addition to serving as the final series of the season.
Staunton is perhaps best known for portraying Professor Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter , and more recently, appeared in the Downton Abbey the film, Maleficent: the Mistress of Eviland A Confession opposite Sherlock‘s Martin Freeman. While the Oscar-nominated 63-year-old actress casting does dash any hope of Helen Mirren, which does promise some sensational drama in the final show of the season.
“I’ve wanted to see The Crown from the start,” Staunton it said in a statement. “As an actor, it was a joy to see how both Claire Foy and Olivia Colman brought something special and unique to Peter Morgan script. I am truly honored to be part of an exceptional creative team and to be taking The Crown to its conclusion”.
The Fans still have Colman, Helena Bonham Carter, and Tobias Menzies for his last round in the year 2020 in the four season, which will also introduce Gillian Anderson as Prime Minister of the uk Margaret Thatcher and Emma Corrin as a young Diana Spencer. The Crown‘s fifth season the more likely it is that you are going to get to the end of 2021, when the production can begin after the COVID-19 pandemic.
