Netflix is White Lines it is a wild ride of violence, of all the matches of the night, and fall in love with someone who’s not you. The Ibiza-set story follows Zoe (Laura Haddock) as she tries to figure out exactly what happened to his brother, Axel (Tom Rhys Harries), 20 years ago, when he left his home in Manchester, England, and a new life in Ibiza. Take the 10 episodes of the first season to get to the bottom of his disappearance, and the end is definitely not what we expected.

Axel is the best friend of his younger sister, Zoe, and wanted her to go with him to Ibiza when his dad kicked him out. She stays back, though, because she is still under age. She promises to Axel, when she turns 18 years of age, she’s going to come to join him and his friends in his luxurious life. He disappears, however, and Zoe and her dad says that he has been to India, and never heard more of him. Two decades later, his body is found in the desert of Almería, Spain, in the ownership of the very prominent Calafat family.

Kika Calafat (Zoe Mulheims), with date of Axel, while she was a teenager, her parents tried to pay him to leave her in peace. The family of the patriarch Andreu (Pedro Casablanc), it quickly assumes that after Axel’s body was found with her son Oriol (Juan Diego Botto), who hated Axel, or his wife, Conchita (Belén López), murdered him and buried him on the property.

Zoe comes to Ibiza to try to find out who killed his brother and the traces of his disappearance the night of his 24th birthday. On the night of Axel’s 24th birthday, he and his closest friends, Marcus (Ceallach Spellman), Anna (Kassius Nelson), and David (Jonny Green), which are home to an incredible 24 hours of rupture of the party, with more drugs than you can imagine and 600 people. In present day, Zoe keeps asking for Marcus (Daniel Mays), Anna (Angela Griffin), and David (Laurence Fox), who are still in Ibiza, to help you figure out if someone at the party knew something, but the three keep insisting that there was a lot of people who took too many drugs.

During the last episode, we can finally see the full picture of what happens in the match. In a flashback, Marcus and Anna marry, and on that same day, Anna sleeps with Axel, and then Axel called Marcus a loser. At his birthday party, Axel set a huge fire and tells his guests he is to let the past go and starting again. While he and Anna are alone in the pool, he tells him to sell all of the clubs that they had bought together, and all the music they had made together and burning money in the campfire, leaving everyone with nothing. In a fit of drug-fueled rage, she tries to drown him.

Marcus shows up and the two of them rode in the trunk of Oriol in the car, whose key had been stolen while he was gone with David. As they are driving to dump the body, Axel wakes up and busts out of the trunk of the car. As he is trying to escape, Marcus backup of the car and hits him. He tries to crawl away when Anna takes a screwdriver and stabs him, killing him.

His body was buried in Calafat property, and Zoe and her dad were fed a false history. Despite the fact that 20 years ago his dad came to Ibiza to try to figure out what happened, he was sent away and told to stop looking. For 20 years, Axel friends kept his secret, and Zoe struggled with the thought of his best friend, abandoned her. It was a tough road for Zoe in the solution of Axel’s disappearance, and still there are several story holes that could benefit from a second season, so I’ll have to see if you come to get those answers.
