After the success of the Parks and Recreation special on the 30th of April, NBC announced that it would not be an hour 30 Rock special broadcast on 16 July at 8 in the night, Yes, all the favorites, including Tina Fey (Liz Lemon), Alec Baldwin (Jack Donaghy), Tracy Morgan (Tracy Jordan), Jane Krakowski (Jenna Maroney), Jack McBrayer (Kenneth Parcell), and perhaps some more — will be returning because, as Kenneth the Page put it, “there are only two things [they] the love in this world, the television and all over the world.”
Unlike the Parks and Recreation special, which focused exclusively on the cast of the show, the 30 Rock the special will also include stars from other NBCUniversal shows, which means that we are in a hell of a crossover episode. A special focused on bringing “the video, advertising, and humor” is right up 30 Rock‘s alley as the series has always been known for the ridiculous product placement and less subtle nods to the sponsors. Although we do not know for sure how the episode is going to work until that is passed, here are 15 things that we imagine is going to happen:
- Liz spends part of the episode “working on her night cheese.”
- Jenna bursts into a song, or threat to “stick a pin.”
- Tracy hides in Africa, only for everyone to realize that, in fact, in New York.
- Kenneth appears in puppet form.
- Jack has a breakdown, because he is not handling being alone well.
- Angie Jordan has announced that his second single, “My Second Single Is Dropping,” is dropping.
- Cerie is too busy looking at his nails to recover the sound.
- Frank Rossitano changes hats all the time, probably to another program of the NBC.
- Pete Hornberger tired yells at their kids all the time.
- Drew Baird has trouble working on his laptop with his hook hands.
- Danny Baker shows up late, because no one told him what was happening.
- Chris Chros spend most of their time with a hot dog, before pulling out a guitar.
- There is a return to some of 30 Rock‘s better to false it is displayed as MILF Island or B*tch Hunter.
- After getting promoted to President of NBC, Kenneth announces that he is happy as a page and is forced to resign.
- Liz and Jack to do everything possible to include to each new show at the NBCUniversal record before asking, “Can we have our money now?”
We can’t wait to meet with the 30 Rock the crew of 16 July. In the meantime, here is the video of us waiting for the episode.
