Nicole Kidman kept us on the edge of our seats Big Little Liesbut she is about to push all the way off in his new HBO series, Perdition. In August. 6, the network released a new teaser for the murder mystery, which continues to Grace Fraser (Kidman), a successful New York-based therapist and author who suddenly finds herself embroiled in an investigation when it is connected to a violent death and a missing husband in the middle of a series of devastating revelations. “It’s what the rich, the right of the people do when they feel threatened,” Noma Dumezweni, who plays Haley Fitzgerald, says in the new tumultuous teaser. “Hide the ugly truths to protect themselves, and they think they can get away with it.”
The forthcoming drama — based on Jean Hanff Korelitz 2014 of the novel, You Should Have Known — it was directed by Bird Box‘s Susanne Bier and written by Big Little Lies the screenwriter David E. Kelley. Also star Hugh Grant, Matilde De Angelis, Ismael Cruz Córdova, and Noah Jupe.
