In the same vein as several films that have come before it, Energy Project it tells the story of how power corrupts people. Except this time, the power comes in the form of super-strength and bulletproof skin in place of pencil-pushing bureaucrats.
Netflix upcoming movie follows a local cop (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), a young dealer (Dominique Fishback), and an ex-soldier (Jamie Foxx) driven by his desire to save his missing daughter as a team to stop the dangerous expansion of a new pill that unlocks super powers unique to each user. The catch? You don’t know what you’re going to get until you take it. You could get the power of invisibility or it could explode in a ball of fire — the opportunity is for you. When the pill increases the crime to a dangerous level, the trio set out to stop the group responsible for the creation. And if you have to resort to taking the pill to stop them, is more than ready to fight the power with power.
