Taylor Swift blesses us with a new album and a new music video. Shortly after announcing the release of their eighth album The folklorethe singer dropped a video of a new song called “Rebekah” on the night of Thursday. The dreamy video, which Swift directed, features the singer getting magically transported to different places, as she sings about love lost. We are without a doubt some of the main “Safe and Sound” vibrations of this! Swift added that “all the shooting was supervised by a medical inspectorall wore masks, he stayed far away from one another”, and she even did her own hair, makeup and hairstyle.
The singer surprised fans everywhere when she announced her new album. In a lengthy Instagram post, Swift revealed that she wrote and recorded new music in the isolation and I was so excited that about her, she didn’t want to wait to share it. “Before this year I probably would’ve overthought when with the release of this music in the ‘perfect’ time, but the times we’re living in keep reminding me that nothing is guaranteed,” he said. “My gut tells me that if you do something that you like, you should put it in the world.
