The last YA book to movie adaptation is coming just in time for some perfect fall display. HBO Max latest feature film Unpregnant based on the novel of the same name hits of the serpentine, Sept. 10, and is taking Barbie Ferreira and Haley Lu Richardson in a wild, three-day trip as they take on complicated friendships and difficult decisions on the road to adulthood.
Hold on to a pregnancy test in the bathroom, anxiously waiting for the small blue line not display, Type A young man of 17 years, Veronica (Richardson), is suddenly faced with a life decision that she never thought that she would have to do. As she decides to embark on a trip to get an abortion, she enlists his ex-best friend (Ferreira) to help her in a wild 1,000-mile journey to New Mexico, along the way realizing that one of the most important decisions you make in life is choosing who your friends are.
