The Voice: I'm Crying, 'Cause I Love This Lizzo-Inspired Audition — and So Do All 4 Judges

The Voice‘s 19th season hasn’t officially started yet, but we already have a contestant to root for. On Oct. 16, NBC dropped a preview video before the show’s Monday premiere, which features a standout audition from Tamara Jade. The 30-year-old Maryland singer showed up onstage with a powerhouse cover of Lizzo’s “Cuz I Love You” — and immediately got the judges’s attention.

Kelly Clarkson and John Legend spun their chairs at her first note, and you could tell they were utterly impressed by Jade’s whole rendition. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton followed suit (how could they not?) and then it came down to the judges trying to convince Jade to join their team. Who did she choose? You’ll have to tune into the premiere to find out. In the meantime, watch Jade’s incredible audition above.
