The Umbrella Academy: Who Is Jack Ruby?

You don’t have to be a history buff to note that the season two of Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy I had a real-life ’60s twist. Luther “Jack”, 1963, in Dallas is to Jack Ruby — yes, the Jack Ruby, who (allegedly) shot President John F. Kennedy killer Lee Harvey Oswald. Despite the fact that only appears in a few episodes, it is clear that the story was going. (Side note: John Kapelos, who plays Jack Ruby, is also known for playing the Doorman in The Breakfast Club and Elijah Gould in Costumes.) Let’s review what we know of the show, as well as what happened to the real life of Jack Ruby.

Who Is Jack in The Umbrella Academy?

This is what we know: one night in a club, Sissy husband Carl gets kicked out and accidentally left the wallet in the back pocket. Luther notices Vania picks up Carl from the club and used his ID to enter and try to find her sister. After finding out that Allison is married, Luther is the broken heart and lose a match on purpose, causing Jack to fire Luther. After many events of the second season of Luther tries to call Jack on numerous occasions in their club. However, Jack did not pick up and grab near a firearm after the hearing that Lee Harvey Oswald, has been arrested for the murder of President Kennedy.

What Happened to Jack Ruby, in Real Life?

The end of the series seems real indication of the events that happened after the death of President Kennedy. According to The story, Lee Harvey Oswald was walking towards the vehicle that would take them to jail when Ruby appeared. Ruby shot Lee in the midst of several police officers and reporters, and then he was immediately put under police custody. Lee died several hours later and Jack was found guilty of murder and was given a death sentence. After appeal, he was granted a new trial, but died of a pulmonary embolism due to lung cancer before receiving the conviction.
