Now that the popular, award-winning Broadway musical Hamilton is coming to Disney+, you can all finally in the room where it happens. It is difficult to specify a favorite character, song, or even of the scene, but there is an undeniable, universal truth: the Schuyler sisters are empowering and inspiring as hell.
However, their love for one another not only exist in the scenario. While chatting with the original Broadway actors — Renée Elise Goldsberry (Angelica Schuyler), Phillipa Soo (Eliza Hamilton), and Jasmine Cephas Jones (Peggy Schuyler) — before the release of the film, which shared the evening in the backstage ritual they did before hitting the stage for his self-titled number.
As his fellow actors performed “The Story of this Night,” the trio all huddled together. “I go into hives when I hear that [song],” Said Renée POPSUGAR. “That’s what they were singing just as we were in the backstage.” So we looked at each other to get excited. “We were hugging each other, but also doing, like, little dance to get each other hype,” Jasmine said.

“Every show, no matter who it was for the sisters, we have had a group of girl-power hug before we go out on that stage during which the number of” Renée shared. “That is when we huddled and loved each other. And then we exploded!”
