The Crown Season 4 Teaser Gives First Look at Princess Diana

The first look at Netflix’s The Crown‘s highly anticipated fourth season just dropped, and it has us at the edge of our seats already. The brief teaser for the upcoming season highlights two of the series’s new cast members and reveals the Nov. 15 release date for the royal drama’s fourth installment.

Fans will recognize Olivia Coleman returning for her second (and final) season as Queen Elizabeth II, as she states that “something as important as the monarchy cannot be allowed to fail.” The two newest members of The Crown cast make their debut appearances, though we only see bits of their faces in mirrors and the back of their heads. Keen eyes will spot Gillian Anderson as controversial former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher and newcomer Emma Corrin as the future princess of Wales, Diana Spencer. Though we’re only given flashes of each character — one of which is a look at Princess Diana in her iconic wedding gown — it’s enough to let us know this season is going to be heavy on the drama. Just how we like it.
