Of course, a show about a fake psychic detective named Shawn Spencer (James Roday) and his best friend Burton “Gus” Guster (Dulé Hill) was meant to be fun. In fact, one of the best things about Psych is that in order to get in almost any place in an investigation, Shawn usually gives Gus a ridiculous nickname to adapt to the situation. Throughout eight seasons and two films, Shawn has given around Gus 104 nicknames, give or take. While the majority goes hand in hand with them, every now and again, given the power of veto, which he strongly invoked during Psych 2: Lassie Come Home. We have selected some of our favorites below — and no, we did not classify, that it was too hard!
