We are all learning that Dale Moss is this week, thanks to the latest news of the filming of The Bachelorette. With the rumors swirling that he and Girlfriend Clare Crawley have already fallen in love and left the show together, everyone is wondering who is this guy, what is its history and what to do for a living? As a result, his work is at least a part of what makes it understandable why Clara could have fallen for him so fast.
Moss career is quite broad: he dipped his finger in pro sports, modeling, and philanthropy, among other things. He is a global ambassador for the Special Olympics, and his biography on his site reveals more info about what he has done throughout his career. Initially, he played basketball in college, but he changed football for the University of South Dakota. Despite only playing college football for a year, apparently made a big enough splash that he was drafted by the Green Bay Packers. Finally played on the practice teams of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Carolina Panthers, and Chicago Bears, but his football career never took off. He did, however, host a podcast from 2018 to 2019, called The Game Plan With Dale Moss, where he interviewed professional athletes about their lives and careers.
According to Moss’s official website, he is now a model represented by Wilhelmina modeling, and has done campaigns for various brands and publications. Apparently it also makes a fair bit of the philanthropic and advocacy work: in addition to his ambassador work with the Special Olympics, their web site points out that he has also worked with the Tiger Woods Foundation, the Wounded Warriors Project, and NFL Play 60.
