Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber's "Monster" Sounds Even Sadder With This Choreography

I am convinced that no one works faster than Kyle Hanagami. No more than three days after Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber released their unexpected collaboration, “Monster,” the internet-famous choreographer dropped a mesmerizing dance video for the haunting track featuring six groups of dancers.

Mendes recently spoke about the meaning behind “Monster” in an interview with VMan. “It’s about how society wants to put celebrities up on a pedestal, but as much as they want to do that, they want to celebrate the fall,” he said. Check it out above, then watch Bieber and Mendes perform the song for the first time during the recent 2020 American Music Awards.
