See Dwayne Johnson In A Surprise Message To 2020 Graduates

Special letter from a high ranking

Where are you from? A letter from Lorena answered my question 🙏🏾🎓✊🏾
To all the high school graduates of 2020,
The truth is that it is the generation that will have the answers to the questions, we – the adults – are having a hard time finding the answer.
My/our accountability to their generation is helping to create the way for the normalization of the equality and showing that to be compassionate, strong, understanding, strong and kind are never mutually exclusive.
And your generation will ensure that equality for all, through empathy and respect will always remain.
Thanks, Pompano Beach High School Senior Class President and valedictorian, Lorena Angelakos for this incredibly touching letter that resonated with me deeply. Remember, to put your money where your heart is, and always let your heart mana, and the instinct to be your guiding North Star.
We must become the leaders we are looking for.
And I can’t wait to see the leaders that you and all your fellow high school graduates become.
Congratulations, enjoy your summer, and continue to be THE hardest workers in the room✊🏾🎓

Dwayne Johnson recently called for a leader to step forward to support and unite our country, and in high school Lorena Angelakos responded to your call to action. The Florida president of the class wrote a powerful letter to Dwayne, and instead, he surprised her with a special graduation message in their Facebook page Monday.

The Jumanji: Next Level the actor said Lorraine a touching message fell down at his feet. “It is not what Lorraine is saying is how she is saying,” Dwayne explained. He read his letter, “Some students will be making their way to the university, other not, some will be hitting the workforce. All of us have dreams and aspirations. I consider you a source of inspiration for our young people, to remind us that hard work, positivity and perseverance are going to pay, no matter how hard the path may seem.”

“I asked a question a couple of weeks ago. I said, ‘Where are you?’ And now I have my answer. You are right here. Here you are.”

“The majority of commencement speakers and celebrities are sought for after you finish the university, but I think the time is now in its final year when some students don’t have that luxury of going to college,” he continued reading. “With the help of someone like you, you can inspire. They deserve it now with you as their source of inspiration.”

Dwayne assured Lorena that he has “traveled around the world two times and come back to talk with her graduation of the class without cost, but she closed $7 — the same amount of money Dwayne began his career with. “That sealed the deal,” he said.

“Lorena, I asked a question a couple of weeks ago. I said: ‘Where are you?’ And now I have my answer. You are right here. Here,” he continued. “You and your fellow graduates . . . you are our empathy and compassionate leaders that are going to lead us, who will be responsible that we, as adults, to have a little hard time to answer. You are going to normalize the equality. We are going to build a road, that is my responsibility, I, and others that we are going to build that pathway. You are going to make sure that happens and that it stays that way forever.”

“We all must become the leaders we are looking for”, he concluded. “To all the graduates of 2020, congratulations, thank you for being our leaders. We come to this.”
