Chloe x Halle are preparing for the release of their second album, Ungodly Hourwith a tribute to some of his musical heroes. The couple showed off their impressive vocals in a mashup performance of “Ex-Factor” by Lauryn Hill, “More Than a Woman” by Aaliyah, and “Creep” by TLC in an Instagram clip on Wednesday night.
“In honor of our album premieres this Friday, here is a mashup of songs from some of the artists that has inspired us,” the sister duo with subtitle your video, with Chloe on the piano, and Halle singing.
The couple was originally set to launch his album on the 5th of June, but pushed again a week in the middle of the protests around the country for racial justice. “In honor of all the lives that were lost and the brutality of the police, we thought it was the right to postpone and shine our light in them.” Ungodly Hour will fall on June 12.
