In August. 7, Kate Bosworth, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sanoe Lake had a virtual meeting to reminisce about their iconic film, 2002, Blue Crush. In a move that would make their Blue Crush characters proud, the product of the meeting supported the Surfrider Foundation, which is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of oceans, waves and beaches.
Bosworth kicked things saying: “I get excited to see their faces,” and I can’t blame her; it has been 18 years since the release of the film, and even I’m getting a little emotional seeing them all together again. When they were not joking, or talking about the roughness of the film formation had been emphasised that, although they are all so different, the film worked because it was “all the love”.
