Things got very emotional on Friday, the Mother’s Day episode of Jada Pinkett Smith Red Table Talk. Sandra Bullock made a special appearance with her adorable 8-year-old daughter Laila to surprise a nurse manager named April Goodpath who has been working in the COVID-19 unit of the California Adventist Health White Memorial.
“We have to sit here and be home with our families because they are out there doing the hard, hard, hard work.”
“April, thank you for — I’m going to try to say this without crying — but thank you for everything that you’re doing it because we can sit here and be home with our families because they are out there doing the hard, hard, hard work,” Sandra said from April through video call. “There is a dinner and a grace that passes without us send the love and the appreciation and gratitude that we, as a family, because we are safe.” Laila also expressed his gratitude, saying in April, “Thanks, April, for doing everything for everyone. Stay safe and your family.”
In addition to Sandra and Laila’s special message, the actress recently donated 6,000 N95 masks to the hospital in los ANGELES. When Jada asked Sandra how he had chosen the hospitals to donate masks, Sandra said that he wanted to help the hospitals to “represent my family.” “You know, as all the world feel like home and you feel like your hands are tied because you can not do anything,” he said. “We gave the names of several hospitals, and in April the hospital was one of the main.”
Jada and her family also had a surprise of their own for the month of April, as he donated $50,000 to the Adventist Health White Memorial and endowed with a vacation of their choice for once the pandemic is over. Grab some tissues and watch the touching video below.
