The film Onlylaunched in the year 2019, but new to Netflix, it tells a story of crushing an epidemic that spreads around the world, directed only at women. A couple, that Is (Leslie Odom, Jr.) and Eva (Freida Pinto) enter in the quarantine, while the world turns in on itself as women are killed by the disease. But at the end of this exciting story, no one is safe.
How It All Began
The film runs out of order to not see the full picture until the end. It starts with the Will and Eva get home raided, while the authorities are in search of women that are loose. As the gunmen out after failing to find Eve (which was hidden), one of them hangs back and tells Will to enjoy his last days with his infected loved one. He had seen the swab test in the table that showed a positive result, which means Eve had caught the virus. From here, the scenes that jump around from present time — where you are Going and Eve are trying to escape to the days before that.
The Virus Becomes Full Of Ash
Out of nothing, ash begins to fall from the sky, coating everything, and this is what leads to the virus outbreak. Mysteriously, the virus is only killing women, which creates chaos throughout the world. The women start to get sick and die, some men are trying to protect their loved ones, but other men are trying to collect the reward money offered to convert to women in. In the midst of the hysteria are the Will and Eva.
The couple immediately put in quarantine, with the intention of keeping Eve in a tight grip to keep her safe. He will not allow her to go outside or use the phone, something that eventually leads to his insanity. On the day of 400, Eva discovers that her mother has been taken away from her dad, and she completely loses it. She lashes out at Will to keep trapped, even if it is in your best interest.
The Reward For Women
People are offered a cash reward for turning in any woman that are still free in the world. The government has been taking everything in to do experiments on them to get knowledge about the virus, which is the reason that you are paying for his capture. When the Will and Eva are getting food, a man and his son realize that Eva is a woman disguised as a man, and that follow the couple in the forest. The catch, while Eva escapes, but she is finally able to return to rescue him.
Will and Eva are escaping deep into the forest so that Eve may be in the nature as she dies, because at this point, you’ve reached the end of the infection cycle.
Day 400
On the day of 400, after that Eva finds out that his mom and lashes out at Will, she screams that she only wants to go outside and feel the sun. She puts on a hazmat suit and runs up to the roof of his building and before he can stop her, she rips off the suit, that she herself was infected by the ash. For her, living under quarantine watching millions of people is picked up by a mysterious virus that was not the life she wanted to live.
Here is where the beginning of the movie slots. Eva takes the test, finds out he’s positive, and she and to the forest so that you can die in nature rather than trapped in her house, and is seemingly alone.
