A new dance trend has emerged, and to the surprise of no one, what is happening in TikTok. At the end of June, mashup artist Tanay Ganga shared a remix that combine to the perfection of 2010, once-ubiquitous “Teach Me How to Dougie” by Cali Swag District with “Wakhra Swag” by Navv Inder with Badshah from 2016. And so, the Wakhra Dougie was born.
More than 1,500 TikTok users have been used from the mashup to show the choreography that blends various Indian dance moves, well, the Dougie, of course. Enjoy some of our favorite examples later, after reading about some of the most popular of the dance challenges to the application of video.
