Twisted tales of the domestic, the betrayal, the confusion of identities, and the dark secrets of the family are found in abundance in the titles that have been announced up to now. And even better, a lot of genre’s best writers are set to release new nail-biters, including Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen, Lisa Gardner, and Karen M. McManus. In addition, there are a lot of buzzy debuts to look forward to, as well as the genre-crossing experiments that mix elements of science fiction or horror to add new layers at once-with the participation of gender.
