The Bridgerton universe is expanding! On Friday, Netflix announced their plans for a spinoff series that’s all about Queen Charlotte. The limited series, which has already been ordered by the streaming service, will follow the origin story of the gossip-obsessed monarch and will also feature a young Violet Bridgerton and Lady Danbury.
Shonda Rhimes is set to write and executive produce the limited series with Betsy Beers and Tom Verica executive producing. More details, including the cast, have yet to be announced. The news comes just after Netflix renewed Bridgerton for season three and four and kicked off filming for the upcoming second season. Needless to say, we are so ready for even more Bridgerton!
