Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa are joining forces for their new song “Prisoner,” and a 30-second peek at the music video shows their collab will be epic. On Nov. 18, the singers posted a glimpse of the highly anticipated music video on Instagram. Although this intro doesn’t give too much away, it appears we can expect the same sexy, messy, rock ‘n’ roll energy that Cyrus has delivered with her recent performances. Proceed with caution: the clip includes a jump scare that we’ll be thinking about for days.
The “Midnight Sky” singer announced her upcoming LP Plastic Hearts back in October, and announced the official tracklist on Nov. 13. Lipa is among good company as a featured artist on the record, with Billy Idol and Joan Jett joining as Cyrus’s additional collaborators. This is gearing up to be quite a musical moment for Cyrus, as we anxiously await her full-length “Prisoners” video which drops Thursday, Nov. 19.
