Malala Yousafzai is officially a graduate of Oxford! The 22-year-old activist has been a very busy uplifting and inspiring other students from all over the world, while completing his own degree, and now it is your turn to celebrate. On Friday, she shared her exciting news on Instagram with a couple of nice photos, and some relatable post-graduation plans.
“It is difficult to express my joy and gratitude, now that I have finished my Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree at the university of Oxford,” she wrote alongisde photos of herself covered in cake and confetti, and a sweet family snap. “I don’t know what’s ahead. For now, it will be Netflix, reading, and sleeping.”
This latest milestone is just one of the many amazing accomplishments Malala has achieved. She has been a strong advocate for the education of girls over the years and survived an attack by Taliban gunmen who wanted to silence his voice. She recovered and continued his search for equality of education through the foundation Malala and her father. Later, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and became a Messenger of Peace of the UN. If anyone deserves a little time to rest and relax, it is Malala. Congratulations!
