Madison Bailey recently came out as pansexual in a video TikTok, and the Wednesday, of 21 years of age Outer Banks star participated in an insightful Instagram Live Mental Health Q&A” with fellow actress Lacy Hartselle. Madison more open about her sexuality, talk about how to free to been to be as transparent and support those who are close to her have been.
“Being open and honest feels so good!”
“I have very accepting friends, an accepting family, an industry that is very welcoming and very tolerant,” said Madison. “Being open and honest feels so good! To be so transparent, especially in an industry when a lot of people who want to be in my personal life, it is nice that I can be like, ‘this is my personal life. You can have it. It is well’.”
Earlier this week, Madison also revealed that she is dating UNC basketball player Mariah Linney after the two connected on TikTok. “I feel zero shame, and I don’t feel that way because no one ever really I was ashamed of it, and I know a lot of people who have had a great amount of hatred and lack of support. I know many, countless stories of homosexual persons who do not have support,” said Madison. “But if you’re asking me, personally, that’s just my experience with it. It was worth it. I feel lighter, I feel happier that I can only be so open and honest. It feels good.”
Madison ended the Q&A that urged fans to be open about their sexuality. “If you’re gay, tell everyone that you are gay. Worth,” he said. “I was saying this the other day, I was like, ‘To be honest, I don’t believe in straight people. They are as real as unicorns to me.'”
