Little Voice: Watch Bess Sing in This Season 1 Finale Clip

Bess (Brittany O’Grady) is raising her voice in the upcoming season one finale of Apple TV+’s Little Voice. The series, which was executive produced by Sara Bareilles, Jessie Nelson, and J. J. Abrams, follows the aspiring songwriter as she navigates love, family, and friendships in NYC. In this exclusive clip, Bess takes the stage to perform one of her original songs and shines bright in the process. Despite a storm knocking out the power, Bess doesn’t let her nerves get the best of her and sings the track a cappella. After everything Bess has been through this season, it’s a beautiful moment as she completely owns her voice and lets her confidence shine through.

The empowering song also serves as the show’s official theme song. In fact, Bareilles originally wrote the track for her 2007 album of the same name, but it ended up getting cut. Now more than a decade later, it has inspired a whole series about finding your voice and using it to the fullest. Talk about full circle! Watch the empowering clip above before the season one finale airs on Friday, Aug. 21.
