The Walt Disney Company has been slow to represent queer characters in a substantial way, and yet some of the most iconic of the Disney movies contain moving quotes that describe exactly what I’ve struggled with in certain moments of my life as a person queer. The rainbow-the magic is there. It has always been there in the words. These letters and the lines of the Disney films have remained with me, with the power of me, and has given me hope throughout my life.
