Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have welcomed their first child together! UNICEF shared the news on Instagram Wednesday night, announcing the arrival of the couple’s daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom. The singer had revealed she was expecting her first child with Orlando in her “Never Worn White” music video back in March.
“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” Katy and Orlando shared in a statement via UNICEF. The organization announced the news with a black-and-white photo of the pair holding their baby’s hand. The singer and actor, who are both goodwill ambassadors for UNICEF, have set up a donation campaign in Daisy’s name to support expecting mothers and newborn lives in need amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Katy and Orlando were first romantically linked in 2016 and got engaged in 2019. Orlando is already a father to 9-year-old son Flynn, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr. Congratulations to the happy pair!
