Katie Stevens Last Interview Call

Our trio of favorite relatable-as-hell best friends are finally back with new episodes of The Bold. In celebration of the mid-season premiere of the 11th of June, we chatted with Katie Stevens (the mastermind behind Scarlet writer Jane Sloan) in May for our new interview series, the Last Call. Talking with some of their favourite celebrities, we get to the bottom of each one last thing — since his last text message to the last thing to do before bedtime. Continue reading to learn about Stevens as she talks about the filming The Bold, your honeymoon, and more.

POPSUGAR: What is the last of the series you watched on Netflix?

I’ve never seen fully The Office all the way through, so I started abusing it! The show is so good, and I especially love to see Melora [Hardin] play a role different from its role in The Bold.

PS: What was your last day on the set of this season?

I left work early on Wednesday to fly to THE press. By the time I had landed in los ANGELES, all of my newspapers had been cancelled due to COVID-19. I ended up back on a plane to Montreal, and when I was going through customs, I got the call saying that it was closed for the season. I have understood that safety came first, but I was so sad because we never had a proper goodbye with the crew! I’m hoping to get another season, so we can’t end on a strange note.

PS: What is the last thing you ordered online?

Scissors to cut my husband hair. He asked me for about a month to get a pair of scissors to cut his hair, and when it finally came, none of us has trusted me to make it a reality. So, if anyone needs a hair-cutting scissors, I have for you!

PS: What is the last thing that you sent a text message?

I wrote to my mom “I love you. Good night!” with a kiss face emoji.

PS: What is the last thing you had to drink?

I mean, the real answer is the water, but I did also have The Croix. I bought a rogue flavor of this time, Hibiscus, and it is delicious.

PS: What is the last photo in your camera roll?

A photo of my husband and my dog cuddling.

PS: What is the last thing you do before you go to bed?

I have to do my skin care routine. It is therapeutic for me!

PS: What is the last trip that happened?

My husband and I went on a mini honeymoon to Mexico for a couple of days. I’m so glad we do, because our real honeymoon had to be rescheduled.

PS: When was the last time you laughed so hard you cried?

We had a game night with some friends. Honestly I forget what was so funny, but I remember that my stomach hurt from laughing so hard!

PS: What was the last gift you’ve ever received?

I have a beautiful gift basket of Free-form with two bottles of rosé wine and some other snacks goodies!

PS: When was the last time you took something home from set?

The last day I was there, they let me borrow a gem for my press in los ANGELES. I never had the opportunity to bring it back to the set, so I still have it!

PS: What is the last beauty secrets/tip that I learned that you always do now?

I have learned so many important tips of beauty, but I would have to say that the most basic, and most important of the two are to wash the face every day and night, and always wear an SPF of 35 or higher!

PS: What was the last song you sang in the shower?

“Wouldn’t It be nice” by the Beach Boys . . . I really don’t know why?

PS: When was the last time you did something for the first time?

I made homemade meatballs for the first time last week. It was hard, but easier than I thought it would be?

PS: What is the last piece of advice you received that changed your life?

Each day is full of opportunities to show people how much you care, appreciate and value. You should never take people around you for granted.
