When Joey King, and Joel Courtney are not showing their incredible chemistry in the films, they are wasting time with each other off the screen. From striking a pose on the red carpet to the dance in hilarious Instagram videos of the real-life friendship would make their own characters jealous.
In an interview with BackstageJoel added that his friendship with Joey really helped him to jump back into the character of the sequel. “I was a little nervous, to see if I was able to pull him or not,” he said. “The second I read the script and Joey [King] and I, we met in it, I was like, ” no, this is not going to be a problem, bringing a character is not going to be so hard. I can see that it is more difficult for other things, but the real life of the friendship that Joey and I really allows us to return to our characters and comfortably dive back in.” Waiting for that A Kiss In The Booth 2 to release on the 24th of July, we will see some of Joey and Joel best friendship moments ahead.
