Jessica Simpson feels like blonde bombshell Jane Mansfield after being scammed in her body by writer Vogue Sally Singer, as Bridget Hill reported. In a Vogue article titled “Only at the Met Gala,” various reports of Met Gala experiences were shared. Sally Singer told a story about Jessica Simpson and John Meyer who attended an event that didn’t go well with Jessica. In fact, a 39-year-old mother of three declares this inaccurately. Singer thought of all the stories she could tell and decided on a story about Jessica Simpson’s breasts. According to Singer, Jessica Simpson suffered from a near-wardrobe disaster that caused Vogue’s digital creative director to comment solely on Jessica’s body and breasts. Singer went on to say that Jessica’s breasts were “on a tray” and John Mayer touched them during the meal. The comments have sparked outrage across social media and Jessica’s reaction is causing her many. Jessica talked about Jane Mansfield and the infamous photo taken at a Fremont Studios party, where Jane wore a low plunging dress that cut off all her cleavage and Sophia Lauren was caught staring at her chest.
Jessica Simpson shared the iconic photo and wrote the following caption.
“Feels a bit like Jane Mansfield after reading this (inaccurate!) Oral history of #MetBall where I’m embarrassed by #SallySinger (https://www.vogue.com/article/the-complete-met-gala- oral -history) אבל … But in all seriousness, I persevered through shaming my body and internalizing world views about him throughout my adult life.Read this wanted article about the most classic fashion event there is and must be ashamed of another woman for having boobs in this 2020 Nauseating.
Actress January Jones responded in agreement.
“So love this picture! And no? Women shouldn’t talk about other women’s bodies unless it’s to compliment or point out a suspicious mole in the mirror.”

This is the full section that Sally Singer contributed to the article.
“One year Jessica Simpson was there with John Mayer. She was wearing Michael Kors and her breasts may have fallen off her dress on the red carpet … And then at dinner, it was suddenly like, well, Jessica Simpson’s breasts opposite To the dinner table and they’re on a tray and I’m looking at them. And John Meyer put his hands on them at the dinner table. He kind of reached out and I just remember thinking, oh, celebrities, feel free to play here. That’s what happens. ”

While many people agreed with Jessica Simpson, there were few who took a more unconfirmed approach. One respondent seems to agree with the criticism and said the following.
“It’s not about them, but about showing them inappropriately. Seeing the nipple line is really unflattering and just gives people insecurities of embarrassment. It was good for you to present your body, not scandalously.”
Vanity Fair caught up with Sofia Lauren and asked her about that party and the story behind the infamous photo. What might be surprising to learn is that Sofia cared more about Jane than actively accusing Shame. You can read the things she said below.
“Paramount organized a party for me. All the cinema was there, it was amazing. Then arrives at Jane Mansfield, the last one to come. For me, it was the moment that it became amazing. … She came over to my desk. She knew everyone was watching. She sat down. And now, she’s barely … Listen, look at the picture. Where’s my eyes? I stare at her nipples because I’m afraid they’re about to enter my plate. My face can see the fear. I’m so scared that everything in her dress will explode – boom! The whole table.
In fact, many times I get this photo to sign it. And I never do. I don’t want to do anything about it. And out of respect for Jane Mansfield because she’s no longer with us. ”
