Great news, I’ve Never fans, we’re getting a season two! On Wednesday, Netflix confirmed Mindy Kaling, and Lang Fisher’s teen dramedy will return for a second delivery, which share a Instagram clip with the lead star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, saying to his fellow actors.
If you have not tuned in yet — that should fix it as soon as possible — the series 10-episode debut introduces viewers to Devi Vishwakumar (Ramakrishnan), a high school student with a genius and an active imagination that tends to get her into sticky situations. After the traumatic death of his father, and very stressful summer, Devi is determined to make the second year of the secondary school of your b*tch, dragging along in the same way nerdy but seriously best friends. But as the season progresses, Devi plans go all wrong and she is forced to face his demons to begin their journey of healing.
Season finale leaves enough loose ends to pave the way for the second season, from Devi of the family possibly moving to India to the classic dilemma of a love triangle and the secrets of the love story between Devi cousin of Kamala (Richa Moorjani) and Prashant (Rushi Kota), the man who was going to enter into an arranged marriage with. I know, it all sounds delightfully dramatic, which is why we are very excited for the second season!!! Do not disappoint us, Netflix.
