Lady Gaga album Chromatica fell on Friday, and have Little Monsters buzzing. The track “Fun tonight” is especially attracting attention as many fans are speculating that it’s about the singer’s relationship with ex-boyfriend Christian Carino. In the song, Gaga sings, “the love of the paparazzi, the love, the fame / despite the fact that he knows that it will cause me pain / I feel like I’m in a prison of hell / stick my hands through the steel bars and shout / What happens now? I’m not right / And if I cry, you walk away / When I’m sad, I just want to play / I’ve had enough, why do I stay?”
In an interview with the Apple of the Music of Zane Lowe, Gaga revealed that the song was about his battle with depression. She did not mention Love by name, but many believe that she is addressing the way in which their struggles with mental illness affected your relationship with the talent agent and vice versa.
Gaga and Carino’s split was confirmed in February of 2019, two years after we started dating. The following month, a source told Us Weekly, “Chris did not treat Gaga very well towards the end of his [two-year] relationship”. Another source told the outlet that Gaga broke thingsadding that Carino’s “jealous” and “I was trying to find her all the time and I sent a text message too long.” As well it is “Entertainment tonight” about lady Gaga and her former romance?
