After a year of dating, Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young are officially engaged! The couple announced the news on the 26th of July, while the celebration of its first anniversary as a couple. Tarek — who was previously married to his Flip or Flop cost Christina Anstead with whom he shares children, Taylor, 9, and Brayden, 4 — popped the question during a boat trip with Heather in Catalina Island, CALIFORNIA.
The proposal has a special meaning, as the duo met while sailing in Newport Beach, CA, with their respective friends on the 4th of July, 2019. The The Sale Of The Sunset real estate agent just so happened to be docked next to Tarek, that she asked after seeing it. Later that month, they were photographed kissing on a yacht in California, the Portofino Hotel & Marina. They made their red carpet debut as an item at the premiere of HGTV A Very Brady Renewal two months later, in September, and made another elegant appearance at The los Angeles Ronald McDonald House event in the month of November. They say you find love when you least expect it, and that certainly seems to be the case with these future husbands!
