But white people are protesting the quarantine in Michigan and Pennsylvania (encouraged by the president) buildings, holding assault rifles and abandoning military armor. Now imagine if these protesters were black and holding signs on black living matter. Hypocrisy, white privilege, racism … There are two realities in America and it’s disgusting. Two months ago, I suggested that in cities like mine, racial disparities become shockingly evident with the closure of the closure. I also suggested that racist Trump use the epidemic to wield the flames of his racist base, feed them with the idea that their rights are in danger, and continue to explore the waters of the racist racial revolution. ‘

It breaks my heart as soon as these predictions come true. We can do better. We must do better. New Yorkers of all races must demand @ nycmayor to ensure that anyone seeking fresh air is treated with the same level of respect for law and humanity, from West Village to Brownsville to Central Park to Eastern New York and beyond. Although I am now in Los Angeles, I can say with certainty that such police brutality will never happen on the Upper East Side in Manhattan and that no victim of such brutality looks like me. Shame on New York and shame on America. Who we are?
