We didn’t know what to expect from the Emmys this year, but as a wise man once said: the show must go on! The 72nd Emmy Awards were held remotely for the first time in history, with Jimmy Kimmel hosting the show at LA’s Staples Center. Nominees tuned in from all over the world to celebrate and accept their awards, and some even held their own socially distanced viewing parties! Schitt’s Creek was one of the biggest winners of the evening, collecting an impressive nine gold statues, while stars like Regina King, Julia Garner, and Zendaya all snagged awards of their own.
