Clare Crawley season The Bachelorette it was already making history by having the oldest Bachelorette in the history of the franchise, and now the 39-year-old stylist is reportedly making waves for another reason: the run in a season that includes a lead change!
Vulture reports that Crawley, who has been filming her season in a quarantine bubble at La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs, under COVID-19 guidelines, quit the show after only 12 days of shooting because she had fallen in love with one of their contestants. Crawley, according to reports, fell in love with 31 years of age, contestant Dale Moss, who was presented with his first impression rose in the night. He also reported that ABC has nabbed former Bachelor’s degree contestant Tayshia Adams to step in as the new Bachelorette with Crawley to leave the program in mid-production.
Soon after that bit of speculation was set at liberty, Us Weekly reported that producers had begun getting to “backup” contestants that were not ultimately issued after being reviewed for Crawley season. “When the producers reached again, out of nowhere, it was very apparent that something had happened with the production.”
The movement could mean that the men would get another chance in love, but since they already struck out with Crawley, it is doubtful that he had been called back to her. According to E! Newsan insider reported that Adams has joined the production after being subjected to quarantine, and she has been told of the season “to lead with Clear and short duration trip” and to proclaim Adams as the lead later. Warner Bros and ABC have not confirmed anything, nor have any of the cast members, so all of this is speculation.
Adams has competed for the Colton Underwood of the heart during season 23 and went on to the final two before leaving the show to pursue Cassie Randolph, as well as those that appear in Bachelor in Paradise. If the rumours of Crawley’s departure is true, it would be the first time that a lead has ever left mid-production — though considering the circumstances, it seems Crawley have already achieved what she came into the room to do! The added drama definitely give life to the franchise in a way that had never been done before, in reality, what is the the majority of the spectacular season of all of them.
